F1 visas are generally employed on campus at the University up to 20 hours per week during the term. However, during holidays the hour's increase to 40 hours per week. You can earn $7.25 per hour at a minimum in the United States; however, every state has its wage laws. 

• On-Campus Employment: F-1 students can work on-campus for up to 20 hours per week during semesters, and full-time during breaks.
• Curricular Practical Training (CPT): Allows for internships or employment that is part of the curriculum.
• Optional Practical Training (OPT): A key opportunity for Bangladeshi students to gain 12 months of work experience in their field after graduation.
• STEM Extension: Students with STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) degrees can extend their OPT for an additional 24 months, totaling 36 months.
• Common Jobs: Popular on-campus jobs include research assistants, teaching assistants, library assistants, and cafeteria staff.
